Senior Support Engineer

The two key companies I’ve held this title were: Monitise (2008-2019) and IETech (1995-current). IETech it was implied because I was the sole consultant for all their technology needs.

I was the senior engineer for the Monitise mobile banking application. Please note, I served double duty while holding this Tier 4 position. I also was sole person responsible for building the Monitise Monitoring System. Coincidently, ‘monitoring’ served an essential service for the support team as it always kept us better informed of ‘severity’ of issues. Our case support software was SalesForce. Our project tracking software was Jira. I also had the ability to determine where in the code there was a bug, but only did it when severity level was high enough and engineering resources were too low. This ability expedited fixes.
